Long distance motorcycle touring gear list

Touring by motorbike can be an exciting and exhilarating way to travel.  We are awarded the freedom to go where we want when we want when traveling by bike. It is essential that you have the proper gear when planning an extended motorbike tour. A few things to keep in mind while planning are the climate of the region where you will be traveling. Some gear is climate and weather dependent. You want to make sure you have a pretty good idea of what you are in for before actually taking off on your trip. You will also want to account for generally  how long you will be riding each day so that you can plan your gear accordingly. Will you be camping or staying in hotels?
